Abigail Liverpool receives UTT business award

Abigail Liverpool (right), winner of the University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT) 2010 Business Plan Competition, receives a cheque from Minister of Labour, Small and Micro Enterprise Development, Errol Mc Leod, at the UTT’s O’Meara Campus yesterday.

Abigail and business partner Giselle Lewis won the competition with their idea called “Organicycle” which involves the production of fertiliser from compost at the nation’s landfill sights.
