You really can’t blame him. I mean, if your name were Wulf Gerstenmaier and you were an artist, you would probably call your exhibition “Wulf” too.
As if his name alone weren’t cool enough, the 54-year-old German is a remarkable artist with 37 of his latest watercolour paintings on display at Horizons Art Gallery, Mucurapo Road, St James. The exhibition was launched on Tuesday night at the Gallery, attracting lovers of art and lovers of art exhibition launches alike.
For a few hours, the gathering of social butterflies lingered over the watercolour paintings of flowers, people, landscapes, seascapes, still life and scenes from Port of Spain. “Wulf” will run till the end of the month.
